The toxicity of this left wing colonialist mythology that Jews in the 1930s were cute little victim people whom they totally would have cuddled by the way, makes me sick. We were self-sufficient, determined doctors, lawyers and teachers then too.

Jews have always been seen as successful and unsympathetic. Mostly because so many of us have been displaced and murdered that we are a small community, who historically supported one another. Other immigrant communities will recognise this and the stigma that goes with it.
