As much as I like the aesthetic of eldritch weapons like swords and hammers with flesh and eyes and shit I’m gonna be honest I am NOT ready to parry a strike and have my enemy’s sword poke my sword’s eye out and then it starts screaming and bleedin all over me, not a fan of that
Also like if the guard is made of flesh do you have any idea how much that won't protect your hand

Like it will I guess technically if it's got little bones but not as much as if it were sturdy reliable steel

Even less so if it's also got blood keepin those bones moist ya feel
Catch me covering my sword's eyeball with a piece of tape because I don't want no otherworldly entities spying on me through my crossguard
To clarify I'd close it first, provided it has an eyelid, I'm not a MONSTER or anything just because I'm swingin around a sword that has an eyeball and a hilt of flesh that's slowly growing along the blade
Really makes me wonder though like would the eldritch sword flesh thing be like, alive? Would I have to feed it? Is there an optimal diet for Flesh Swords???
If I feed it and water it and give it lots of love can I ascend it past a longsword into more greatsword territory?
..... If I underfeed it will it become like a rapier.......?
Ok google how do I know if my sword is dead
