Answer, unfortunately/inevitably, is “don’t know”. But it doesn’t mean “Do nothing”.
We know the required outcome (full play); though we don’t yet know how to get there, we can still be active in nudging things fwd.

Saying “we need to return to full play or clubs are in danger” isn’t, on its own, going to swing it. Economic argument must be accompanied by a risk tolerance case, to be compelling.
With c1k new cases a day (of those tested), UK can’t use elimination argument of, say, NZ.

Also must be mindful we’re part of a body: indoor sport. Squash will progress no faster than our peer group. Must act collectively
Next opportunity seems to be end-Sep - thread 3
Some voices say “play with masks” - generic solution if social distancing can’t be maintained

IMO sports bubbles: social bubble concept that’s talked about. If people could play vs say, 2 others, we’d be back
& ‘unknown unknowns’ will help: more +ve than -ve e.g. new tests - low cost/immediate result; immunity passports; is virus weakening (hospitalisation now low)?

Must re-frame from despondency to hope: we know the target; we’ll get there; we’re just unsure of route/duration
We’ll keep putting 1 foot in front of other & we’ll arrive; with concerted action, we can exert a degree of pace/direction on a seemingly uncontrollable position
