24 August 1929 - #Hebron massacre took place.
69 #Jews were murdered by #Arabs.
Thousands of Arabs, armed with knives, axes and pitchforks, gathered and proclaimed "The #British Government is with us!" & attacked the houses of the Jews, Men, women and children were

initially stabbed to death.
The pharmacist at the Beit Hadassah clinic who provided great help to patients - #Jews and Arabs, was crippled, was killed in torture, after his daughter was raped in front of him by dozens of #Arabs and murdered.

His wife's hands were cut off and she died in agony.
Rabbi Meir Shmuel Castel (68), Rabbi Zvi Darbkin (70) and 5 other young men were castrated. Yitzhak Abushdid and Dubnikov were strangled with a rope. Yitzhak Abu Hanna (70) was tied to the door and abused until he died.

2 year-old Menachem Segal was beaten & Broke his skull. Hands and fingers were amputated, perhaps to steal bracelets and rings. Shops and synagogues were looted and set on fire. There were #Jews who were saved because they lay under the bodies and pretended to be dead.
