India was advanced in sciences like Chemistry in ancient times, well before any western influence. In this thread I will give a few examples

How to make a Laboratory-

The lab should be made in a place without disturbances near a water source, equipped with various equipments.
There should be Rasabhairava on eastern side similarly Furnance, devices for cutting, washing area etc are designated specific places in lab

Various devices were used as shown in picture, detailed methods are given for construction of such devices, even talked about sealing with clay and cloth to prevent leakages etc

The containers are specified in details and talked about containers of various metals to be used in specific experiments.
