ANNUAL PROFECTIONS THREAD!

how to calculate accurate and specific themes of what each year of your life will hold for you, based off astrology:

-life is about to make a lot more sense-

first things first, so much of the information i’ve learned is from Chris Brennan’s astrology podcast/channel. He is PHENOMENAL and I will be using some of his examples here. All credit to him for his generosity and willingness to share--again, he is phenomenal. @chrisbrennan7

so, to start: on an astrology chart, there are 12 houses. each year of your life attunes to a particular house. by analyzing that house's placements, rulers, and planets, we can get a pretty freakin' accurate idea of what major things that year is gonna hold for you.

1) start by getting your chart. go on http://astro.com , click free horoscopes, extended chart selection, click options for zodiac and houses, and click 'whole signs'. read @maxhiigli's amazing thread on why we use whole sign vs. placidus: https://twitter.com/maxhiigli/status/1254582243101720576?s=20

2) first, you need to figure out if you have a day chart or a night chart.

e.g. first pic: if you have a DAY chart, your sun ☉ will be on the top half of your chart, above your AC/DC line.

second pic: if you have a NIGHT chart, your sun ☉ will be on the bottom half.

depending on whether you have a day chart or night chart, you have different benefic (easy/favorable) & malefic (hard/difficult/constricting) planets.

for days: JUPITER is benefic. SATURN is malefic.
for nights: VENUS is benefic. MARS is malefic.

remember this!

3) in the middle of this wheel are the houses. radiating outwards are the ages that correspond to them. so, pick your year in question and see what house rules that year!

e.g. if you are 18, then it's a 7th house annual profection year. if you are 58, it is an 11th house year.

4) so now, understand what the different houses and planets mean, and what energies they bring. this is very basic, so do lots of your own research with this :)

5) to analyze: figure out year, figure out its house and what that house is about. what's the sign of the house? figure out what planet that sign is ruled by. that is the lord of the year. now what house does that ruling planet fall in?

then, you interpret like a mf.

signs and their planetary rulers:

6) here's an example from @chrisbrennan7's lecture. this is lisa marie presley's chart, daughter of elvis presley.

at 25, she's ruled by 2nd house of finances, money, possessions. 2nd house is in virgo. virgo is ruled by mercury. mercury is in 8th house of death, inheritances--

resources, real estate, transformation, etc. also, jupiter, the planet of luck, expansion, rewards, bigger and better, is in her 2nd house, and because she's a day chart, that is the BENEFIC/GREAT for her.

so, in all, 25 seems like a year FULL of money from 8th house means--

and it was exactly that! the day she turned 25, lisa marie inherited her deceased father's estate valued to be around $100M.

2nd house(money+finances) + 8th house (death+inheritances) = main event for that year. IT'S CRAZY I KNOW Y'ALL.

7) here's another chart: 25 year old again, meaning 2nd house (money+finances+possessions), which is in libra. libra is ruled by venus, which u can see in his 11th house (social friends+networking+technology+future).

so, money made from working with friends/technology.

WELL, GUESS WHO THIS WAS GUYS--steve wozniak, who founded apple with his buddy, steve jobs at 25.

yes, you read that right.are y'all starting to see the pattern here?

8) here's another stunning example from @chrisbrennan7. this is robert kennedy's chart. at 31, it was an 8th house profected year for him. also a night chart.

8th house in leo. leo is ruled by sun. sun is in 3rd house. really know the meanings/themes of the houses for this one.

8th house (mystery, intimacy, death, inheritances) ruler is in the 3rd house (siblings, communication, the mind, thinking, social activity).

AT 31, ROBERT KENNEDY'S BROTHER JFK WAS KILLED. makes a lot of sense. also i don't want y'all to think every 8th house year=death. NO LOL!

9) with this night chart, let's see year 18! 7th house (partnerships with others, romance, business contracts, affairs) in aries, ruled by mars. mars is malefic, and in 6th (health, work, routine, employment).

this is open to so many potential interpretations, let's see--

-they could've had a hard year where emotions run high (remember to look at planets in the ruling house too, moon is here) in regards to their romantic partners/ their mental health.

-could've had difficulty gaining work opportunities/business partners, esp. in healthcare. etc

19: it's an 8th house year, 8th is in taurus, taurus is in venus. venus is BENEFIC, in 3rd. more/less a good year. can mean

-inheritances could be split between siblings
-lot of communication happening regarding money
-properties discussed w/ neighbors

SO MANY INTERPRETATIONS!!

10) ANOTHER DAY CHART: year 18, 7th house (already has good placements, venus+sun), in pisces, pisces ruled by jupiter (USE TRAD. RULERSHIPS), jupiter in 11th.

think about the houses, how they intermingle, and think of some interpretations for this one :)

7th (esp. w/ venus): romantic partnerships, business contracts, love, money
11th (esp w/ jupiter): friends, networking, technology, business ventures, social groups

THUS, ALL THIS PUT TOGETHER COULD MEAN--

-meeting a love interest online or through mutual friends
-starting an online business and having clients as friends

and so much more!! this person actually started their very first online tarot business this year :,) there are so many ways it could play out so beautifully

TO SUM IT UP:
-find year, find its house
-examine planets already in that house
-find the sign the house is in, find that sign's ruling planet
-find the house that ruling planet is in
-include benefics/malefics if applicable
-analyze and interpret the meanings :) spill tea
