The Republican National Committee has caved to white supremacists and hate groups. https://www.splcenter.org/presscenter/splc-responds-rnc-resolution
This resolution is an attack on our definition of hate groups in order to excuse the Trump administration's history of working with those who malign entire groups of people — including #BlackLivesMatter
, #immigrants, #Muslims and the #LGBTQ community — with dehumanizing rhetoric.

Since @RealDonaldTrump first ran for president, he welcomed the support of anti-LGBTQ, anti-Muslim and anti-immigrant groups, like the Family Research Council and the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
These groups want a license to continue to spread their bigotry, and will do anything to undermine those — like the @SPLCenter — who challenge their hateful ideology.
Now, Trump and some in the GOP are doubling down with QAnon and partnering with hate groups seeking to muzzle anyone who stands in their way of furthering their agenda and hurting communities that we care about.
We’re not going to back down from calling out white supremacists and hate groups or challenging their rhetoric.
