The irony of these Antifa idiots doing what they're doing is this:

In a world with defended police departments, people and businesses with money will hire private security. You think massive tech companies are going to leave their offices unprotected? Their assets unguarded?
No, they won't.

They'll hire a few then more. Then maybe the tech company next door can't afford their own, but Google will expand their security's patrols to cover their location as well for a fairly cheap contract.
They'll have everything a police department ever did and more. I mean it is Google/FB/Amazon... they have tons of your personal information on file. They can run a scan for your face or biometrics, track where you've been...

They know everything.
Now maybe in some states they can't carry guns just yet, but they will. After all, they have so much buying power and our congressional and senate leaders have proven time and time again they consider our rights for sale.

So whatever they need, they'll get eventually.
You think a wrongful death by police is an uphill battle? Imagine trying to sue Amazon or Google. They'll hire lawyers that you'll never be able to afford, donate to campaigns, and will render themselves untouchable.

Now imagine this.
You live in a city without police.
Crime rates are skyrocketing, and people are angry. They need to do something quick.

They could re-fund their police department, but that will take time.

Google hears of their troubles and they make an offer. A contract far below the cost of any police department.
The best technology, all taken care of by someone else.

It's approved.

Before you know it, your city is full of officers that don't answer to you or your local leaders. They patrol the streets in sleek uniforms, the Google insignia emblazoned on their chest.
You think this can't happen?
Look to New York, where Google is already taking over parts of the education program.

If you abolish the police rather than address the issues that are coming from above the department altogether, you are opening the door to this future.
We have a two-tier justice system that does not work for the common man and keeps our government out of the reach of most repercussions.

Demand change from them.
From the judges.
District attorneys.
Politicians.

The ones that make it impossible for justice to be served.
Either that, or be prepared to say hello to the United Corporate States of America, ushered in by a bunch of LARPing lunatics on the left that have no idea how to think in hypotheticals.

Be smart.
There's a reason your leaders are "letting" you do this.

Ask why.
