Destiny is the irony 🤯

There were so many pieces that had to be aligned for it to be noticed. Spent 5 yrs writing 60+ verses only to be rejected by the record label CBS. He kept re-writing verses....
(2) ... He performed it live one night and got noticed by John Cale (Velvet Underground). Cale took the lyrics from Cohen & changes them and releases it on an album. A woman from Brooklyn is one of the few people that bought Cale’s album...
(3)... Her house sitter is the legendary Jeff Buckley, he takes notice & covers it, performs it in a local bar. Gets recognized by Columbia Records, signs a deal, records his version & tragically dies. That’s when Buckley became well known & ‘Hallelujah’ reached the masses...
(4)... Pop culture then fell in love with the song. 15 years after Leonard Cohen wrote it.
Very familiar sounding circumstances right?

@zacksnyder couldn’t have picked a more beautiful & fitting song for the love letter he gave us yesterday. Fukin brilliant🤘❤️
