Just a quick PSA. I don't want to be preachy. I try to avoid that. Your support is awesome. It's appreciated, and it keeps us going. But...can we...just...let's try not to tear down others in the process? Please?
If you love or hate a meteorologist or agency or whomever, that's your decision. I've been fortunate to get to know a lot of Houston's broadcast meteorologists personally. They're absolutely all good people. I've been a broadcast met. It's hard. We all take different approaches.
What works for me may not work another. Likewise, as a consumer/viewer, what I do may work for you, but you may hate how someone else does things. It doesn't make them evil or bad or wrong. We're all unique here. And we're all aiming for the same end goal of keeping you informed.
These are stressful times for everyone, especially in a place that's as snake bitten as Houston. Let's focus on getting through this and hopefully it's a non-issue and life goes on. Whatever it is, let's just try and keep the bashing to a minimum. It'd be appreciated. /end rant
