nobody asked or will care but for my own sanity I shall make a thread on why YWTE is about Ben
here is the first verse which admittedly could be about anyone so I won& #39;t get too into it but I will point out a lot of people have commented on how intense and droopy Ben& #39;s eyes were
the chorus- also don& #39;t have a whole lot to say on this but my mom thinks the "I& #39;ll be your mirror" lyric is about Ben because of backup vocals, but I also think Ric kinda emulated how Ben sang at times which could explain this. unimportant note- Come Back Down is a Cap& #39;n Swing -
- song that mentions being "13 and a blonde submarine" and Ben was 13 in his first band which arguably could be a stretch but for the purpose of this thread it isn& #39;t
2nd verse- now we get to the goods. first off I& #39;ll bring up "you got that walk, you do the stroll" and I& #39;ll drop a video of Ben walking because,, you& #39;ll get it without words
longer than intended but Yeah he has a very specific walk
4th verse- T H I S. V E R S E.
the pogo part: I have no idea what it means but my mom pointed out when Ben dances he kinda looks like he& #39;s pogo-ing

I have so much to say on the last 2 lines like,, it cannot be said that that verse on it& #39;s own is about Ben. it literally describes him and just,, yeah
disclaimer: I& #39;m not claiming this to be a love song, because it really isn& #39;t, if anything its an affectionate song but not romantic at all
