y& #39;all think being Asian is lucky. think first. you don& #39;t know everything about the culture enough for you to think that were known as lucky. you think were lucky just cuz of your idols/the stuff you see on screen/we& #39;re closer to idols. no that& #39;s just you fantasizing things
this goes back in history. I’ve seen kpop stans sexualize/fetishizes idols & would think that asian men/women and idols are the same. this degrades their personality of you think that Asians are attractive cuz of your kpop boys/women.
Our traditional clothes such as qipaos, kimonos, ao dai etc. have been sexualize making them look short, holes in the chest area. The “fox eye trend” pulling your eyes w/ your hand. and many more. this is cultural appropriation.
cultural appropriation has been & is still around till this day. majority of bipoc has been victimized by non pocs cultural appropriating our cultures. pls educate yourself & people those around you about infos like this.
