But she was worried about her co-pilot leaving her behind.
Her co-pilot, seeing the fear in her eyes, reached out and assured her that they could start the journey, and stop along the way for her to add those skills, before they continue their journey like they never stopped.

This was Taibat and I, at the beginning of our journey into forever. She had just got a scholarship for her Master& #39;s programme in the UK and she had her doubts. And then there was love and understanding. #HighOnAmica
She travelled 8 days after our wedding. It has been a year since the beginning of that great journey and I have never made a better decision in all my life. I often wonder why men get scared of their partners being successful, or having great dreams and the will to chase them.

Knowing that my partner is coming back home as a bigger professional made me really happy even at weird times. #HighOnAmica
In the last year since she started her academic progression journey, she has been a part of platforms at the level of UN, SOAS, World Literacy Foundation, etc. She has been to 4 countries and about 8 cities in the UK. #HighOnAmica
Within this period as well, I have done 3 countries and 6 new cities in Nigeria. I love our healthy professional & #39;rivalry& #39; and the love with which we go through our challenges. #HighOnAmica
In this period, and the period preceeding that, we have had many misunderstandings and disagreements. We have had our little fights and arguments. These arguments happen in the first place because we love ourselves and this is the place for emotional intelligence. #HighOnAmica
Love is important but being with a pertner who is emotionally intelligent to go through a disagreement objectively, without feeling hunted, is quite as important. Amica is from the best stock anyone could have been made from. #HighOnAmica
In life, people go through doubtful moments. Stressful moments. Financially exhausting moments. My offices have been burgled in the last year and lost millions. Two of my staff has stolen from me, resulting in the loss of a huge amount of money as well. #HighOnAmica
Through all of this, Taibat is always there, edging me to keep going on and to never stop. Bailing me out where she can. And being my comfort at depressing times. It is not my position to say what I have done, or how much I mean to her. #HighOnAmica
But it is my position to remind this woman every day of my life that I love her and that she means everything to me. She is my friend, my confidant, my prayer partner, financial counsellor, life guide and so much more. I have made decisions, and she is the best one ever.
In this journey, I am grateful to the people who have become tight-knit to our story. I am grateful to my parents who have been there from the beginning. I am happy and deeply full of gratitude for the support I have got from my in-laws who have taken me as their son. #HighOnAmica
