1/ @oneweekseason With #COVIDー19 affecting the off season & potentially the regular season, changes to important coaching spots & player positions will be affected more than normal.
The #Panthers are the only team in the #NFL to have a change at HC, OC, DC, and QB.

2/ @heathcummingssr The Panthers 633 pass attempts in 2019 were the 2nd most in the league. That's likely to come down in 2020, which could be a problem for the secondary options in the passing game if McCaffrey and Moore continue to gobble up more than 45% of the team's targets
3/ @4for4_John Per Sports Info Solutions, nine of Bridgewater’s 14 deep ball attempts were on target, which was No. 5 among the 44 quarterbacks with at least 11 deep ball attempts.

4/ @Pat_Thorman After Cam Newton was injured, #Panthers WRs saw a catchable deep ball on only 25% of targets (14/56), via PFF.
During Teddy Bridgewater's five starts, #Saints WRs saw catchable deep balls on 62% of targets (8/13).

5/ @evansilva Likeliest role distribution for #Panthers WRs continues to appear to have DJ Moore in the alpha role, Robby Anderson running the lower-percentage deep outs Curtis Samuel ran last year, and Samuel getting lots more high-percentage stuff that’s in Teddy's wheelhouse.
6/ @DaltonGuruFF Through 14 games last year, DJ Moore was the WR8.
He did this despite:
-Kyle Allen at QB
-Only scoring 4 TDs
Oh... and he was only 22 years old.
Enjoy him in the 3rd round.

7/ @YardsPerGretch If you don't realize how good DJ was last year, consider:
Played 6 snaps Wk 15, missed Wk 16. Pacing his 14 full games to 16:
152 targets, 98 recs, 1342 yds, 4.6 TD
Michael Thomas' 2nd season (2 years older w/ a HOF QB):
149 targets, 104 recs, 1245 yds, 5 TD

8/ @4for4_John Samuel had terrible luck on his deep balls last season. Just five of his 27 deep ball targets (20+ yards downfield) were deemed catchable (per PFF), and he caught all five.
9/ @MattHarmon_BYB When you look at all the players to finish at/above the 90th percentile in success rate vs. man coverage, just two have yet to record a 1,000-yard season.

10/ @heathcummingssr Due to injuries to Olsen, we've already seen a glimpse of what Thomas could be. 8 times over the past 2 years he's seen 5+ targets in a game. In those 8 games he's caught 35 passes for 359 yds & 3 TDs. Double that & you've got a low end starting TE in Fantasy
11/ @Fantasy_Mansion can't get hockenson-gesicki?
thomas is a great consolation prize
*size-adjusted athletic beast
*4.01 is essentially a day 2 pick
*two games started in 2019: 98.5% snap share, 38.5 routes/game, 7 targets/game
*CAR situationally tee'd up for copious pass volume

12/ @justinboone If you're concerned about the CAR Oline ... you should be. The franchise lost a lot of depth with Turner, Williams, and Van Roten departing in the offseason. Veteran Okung is a solid addition at left tackle, but his presence in CAR is far from a sure thing (23)
13/ @PFF_Fantasy Over the past 3 seasons, Christian McCaffrey has shown that the definition of an every-down running back has changed. McCaffrey is the only running back to play over 2,000 snaps over the past two regular seasons, and his 90.6 overall grade is No. 2 in the league.
