Let's talk about why you should be captioning your clips if you are posting them to Twitter!

Honestly, the first big one is accessibility. There are folks that are deaf or hard of hearing. Folks who process better with subtitles.

You should be captioning your clips because otherwise you are cutting off a section of potential audience!

Number two! A lot of folks do NOT listen to things with the sound on, especially on Twitter where the videos auto-play!

Having captions lets your potential audience know what the clip is about AND maybe entices them to click on it so that the sound is on.

Number three! Comedic effect. You are able to control the narrative if you are adding captions. You can add in little action descriptors, descriptors of what's happening, or emphasis on your facial expressions!
