This job isn't underground. It's a multiple billion dollar business. It's not a bunch of smelly dudes in a basement taking apart modems for the love of it. Trying to find a future Mudge in every new hire is dumb.

I didn't get into this industry because I loved it. My buddy told me to go 0656 in the Marines because 29 Palms was close to a bunch of cool shit and he met a bunch of hot girls at Havasu. I still don't "love" the work. I love doing good work, though. They aren't the same.

And am I partly doing this for the money? You're god damn right. If I could make my salary on the back of a garbage truck, I'd probably quit and be outside all day.
