For those who don't know, Maiden Square refers to an event that happened in Ukraine in 2013.

After an extended period of unrest over Russian influence, there was a massacre where snipers shot rioters and police alike. Shocking event for the nation.

Immediately after this event, Ukraine abandoned an accord with the EU and sought closer ties with Russia. Government leaders fled and Crimea was annexed by Russia, supposedly with popular support.

For many observers, this was seen as a coup.

It's hard to explain the actions of elected officials like Ted Wheeler, Lori Lightfoot, Jenny Durkin, Bill DeBlasio, Muriel Bowser, and others.

They have allowed riots to continue for over 90 days. They have defunded police forces and allowed violent protestors to go free.

This weekend, ANTIFA has been attacking Blue Lives Matter events throughout the US. There's been a coordinated effort to create conflict with groups that could be described as conservative.

Were history to repeat itself, one might suspect there's a fifth column planning to use this moment as an opportunity to attack both sides.

We know how the media will frame any conflict. Peaceful protestors standing up against white nationalists.

We've been watching statues topple, institutions be purged, cities burn, and other events uncharacteristic of US politics.

Now is the time to be on-guard for misinformation and events that suddenly escalate. Attempts to assign blame are likely not true.

One might suspect there's a coordinated effort to achieve regime change in the United States.

Not talking about removing the elected leader, but fundamentally altering the system of government to benefit a foreign power.

Our adversaries have many reasons they might want to see this happen. It's important to understand the facts behind events instead of believing in false narratives.
