Armin was the one to inform Hannes about Eren and Mikasa returning to their home while titans were roaming the area.

Armin defended Eren against the cadets. If they make use of his power recapturing the town would be possible. Armin was able to convince Commander Pixis.

Armin got through to Eren when he was barely conscious in his titan form.

Before Hange and the other scouts departed, Levi told Armin to combine his knowledge with Hange, the section commander.

Armin figured that Annie stared at her palm after Reiner escaped from her hands. She then changed course looking for Eren. This was one of the reasons to be suspicious of Reiner.

Erwin told Armin that thanks to him he saved them from disaster many times. Erwin told the soldiers to obey Armin’s commands when searching for the enemy.

Armin knew when Reiner roared he signaled for Bertholdt and warned Hange to get away before he transforms.

Armin noticed how the Colossal Titan got thinner during the fight. This led him to an idea where he asked the rest to draw Reiner away, while he and Eren will deal with Bertholdt.

Armin anchored himself and didn’t let go despite the hot steam being blasted by Bertholdt. He ended up sacrificing his dreams and life, so Eren could finish the job.

However, Armin ended up being saved and was able to see the sea, one of his dreams about the outside world.

Armin doesn’t have to be your favorite character but don’t sleep on him. Just because he isn’t as “badass” or “strong” as your fave, doesn’t make him useless. He’s smart, always there for everyone and a hero.

Also, stop blaming Armin for Erwin’s death. Erwin would be disappointed in you.
