I would like to bring to your notice that Actually there are No Final Exams, only Final Year exams, which in Engineering btech are 4th year exams.1/14

The curriculum is credits based and a Final Year Exam/4th year exam is not any more valuable than a First Year Exam. 4th year courses are not any more important than 1st year courses. 4th year exams are Not Graduating exams or Exit exams. 2/14 #cancelfinalyearexams @narendramodi

Even if a student passes all 4th Year exams & hasn't passed a 1st Year exam he is not allowed to graduate. So if 1st, 2nd, & 3rd year students are promoted & their exams are cancelled there is no reason why the same can't be done for Final year students.3/14

The hypocrisy is so glaring it makes us feel like we are only a namesake democracy cause the judges are hearing the cases online but students are being forced to write physical offline exams as most colleges are not offering online exams. 6/14

So the situation is so dangerous for Judges that they are having online hearing but they are telling the youth they must risk their lives and write physical offline exams. Judges lives matter but students lives don't matter? 7/14

The Court & UGC are saying that the students have the option to write the exam in online, offline, or hybrid mode. But truth is most universities/colleges are conducting only offline exams.The options are given to universities not to students.8/14 @narendramodi #cancelfinalexams

Further it is a fact that teaching and coursework were not completed due to the pandemic but they want exams to be completed. 9/14

Even in its reserved judgement the supreme court seems to be only deciding whether a university can decide not to have exams against the guidelines of UGC. This is a cruel joke on students as they are the main aggrievd party & petitioners, not the Universities.10/14 @narendramodi

& Justice Bhushan says "Only the authorities can decide what is in the students' welfare. Students are not competent enough to decide." ... 11/14 @narendramodi
