While casting stones, @kevincollier seems to have only a loose and partial idea of what we know & don’t know about 2016. 1/ https://twitter.com/kevincollier/status/1297557056048828416
/ “By August [2016], the US Intelligence community had reported that Russian hackers could edit actual VOTE TALLIES, according to 4 of Obama’s senior advisors.” -Rigged by @davidashimer
/ “The New York Times reported that current and former intelligence officials said at least two other providers of elections services, in addition to VR Systems, had been breached by hackers in 2016.” https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/what-we-know-and-dont-know-about-election-hacking/
/ The EAC “was hacked. In 2016, a cybersecurity firm became aware of a Russian-speaking hacker who had obtained the credentials of 100 EAC employees and was looking to sell them — purportedly to a Middle Eastern government.” https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/what-we-know-and-dont-know-about-election-hacking/

/ As explained in the book Rigged by @davidashimer, DHS looked at very few county & municipal election systems. Thus, it could not know if vote tallies were changed at the county or municipal level or not.
/ Collier appears to share some of the same faulty views as Louise Mensch and John Schindler, who @SEGreenhalgh set straight here. https://twitter.com/segreenhalgh/status/1295469013078814721
/ @michaelharriot’s thread is incorrect to the extent that it mistakenly implied that vote by mail is counted by hand. As I posted in reply to his thread, it is counted on hackable scanners.
/ Collier’s wholesale disparagement of Harriot’s thread god too far. Collier doesn’t know whether vote tallies were or weren’t changed in 2016, and he should not abuse his blue check mark status by pretending to know that they weren’t. He shld also read the book Rigged. TY.
