The now 10K LEARNING POD CANADA Facebook group have edited their description at least 3 times, inventing new distinctions between "distance learning pods" and "school at home" learning pods, with a newly found equity focus to anticipate critique....
The word-acrobatics they play to avoid saying PRIVATE learning pods, which include distance learning, astounds. Even PUBLIC learning pods are privately subsidized with private tutors and caregivers. No shame in doing what you got to do, but don't insult those without means...
...with statements like: "Learning Pods DO NOT need to mean an economic divide. There are absolutely ways to form a learning pod on a dime, or free!"

At scale, it DOES reflect an economic divide. Can we attend to the shame of those who can't make this "necessary" choice? #onted
