John MacArthur’s views on voting are... John MacArthur’s views. My view?
A. Pastors and Christian leaders should stop telling people who to vote for & endorsing candidates
B. They should stop sounding like a single party has the corner on Kingdom values.
C. They should ...
... start leading in repentance for the Church’s failure in the culture that is so great that the very word “Evangelical” has been reduced to a political constituency.

Jesus isn’t looking for a seat at the table. He owns the table.
And this has exactly zero to do with Grace being opened up. Glad for every church to figure out how to navigate this crazy time wisely & well.
In fact, gathered worship is critical to our authentic kingdom first true political work. Jesus is Head over all things and Lord.
Lastly, certain issues are politicized and when Pastors teach in those matters as they appear in Scripture they’re not being political, but faithful.
Greed, deception, oppression, corruption, creation, sanctity of life... these are theological and Biblical matters not political platform planks. When Addressed Biblically, idols will be confronted. Idols usually respond in negative ways. No party owns these or gets it all right
To suggest so is itself just another expression of idolatry - not to mention blindness (a natural outcome to idol worship). Trust not in princes my friends. Do the best you can for all with the wisdom God gives you for the day.
