The Ancient Biafran Kingdom
The kingdom of Biafra is estimated to have existed around the 10th Century and ended toward the begining of Slave trade in the Region.
The kingdom is bounded by the West by Benin and separated by the East by Cameroun Mountains from Medra.
It extends southward to Gabon and was bounded by the Kongo kingdom up North it was bounded by the Kingdom of Borno and Zanfara in Negroland (later name of West Africa in lower Ethiopia).
It covers now Eastern Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Northern coast of Gabon and Cameroun.
The Kingdom was intersected by numerous wide river channels which are the outlet of now River Niger and the country between Benin and the capital town Biafra forms the delta of the River.

"Today the town doesn't exist with it's name anymore" 😏
Another Ancient book suggest the capital of the Biafran Kingdom to be in the same Negroland at "River Los Camarones" South East of Benin.

"Today same name of River is found in Chile"

The principal Rivers of the kingdom includes Cross, Gabon and Malinda.
The self kingdom existed as a sphere of religious and political influence where smaller groups existed in autonomous Settlement and society and every one is grouped via age group.
Trading occured around the the area via Sea and on land with different trading routes.
Several trading route includes trade with Bornu Empire, Zanfara, Oyo Empire and the Cross River, Duola and Gaboon River became a primary port for trading via sea.
Several Ancient African civilization occured in the kingdom which are smelting, moulding, mining and many more.
The kingdom gave rise to many smaller nations in time as they lived independently with the arrival of different groups into the mountainous and Forested Kingdom and also war and misunderstanding cause many people to leave kingdom towards South/East Africa (Niger Congo people).
So I wonder how and why it was known as a Kingdom when a kingdom cannot exist without a King or Queen.
I was thinking the fore said kingdom was definitely an Empire.
