I would like to bring to your notice that Actually there are No Final Exams, only Final Year exams, which in the case of Engineering are 4th year exams.1/13

The curriculum is credits based and a Final Year Exam/4th year exam is not any more valuable than a First Year Exam. 4th year courses are not any more important than 1st year courses. 4th year exams are Not Graduating exams or Exit exams. ... 2/13 #cancelfinalyearexams @Swamy39

...Even if a student passes all 4th Year exams & hasn't passed a 1st Year exam he is not allowed to graduate. So if 1st, 2nd, & 3rd year students are promoted & their exams are cancelled there is no reason why the same can't be done for Final year students. 3/13

The hypocrisy is so glaring it makes us feel like we are only a namesake democracy because the judges are hearing the cases online but students are being forced to write physical offline exams as most colleges are not offering online exam. 6/13

The Court and UGC are saying that the students have the option to write the exam in online, offline, or hybrid mode. But truth is most universities and colleges are conducting only offline exams. (The options are given to universities not to students.) 8/13 @Swamy39

Even in its reserved judgement the supreme court seems to be only deciding whether a university can decide not to have exams against the guidelines of UGC. This is a cruel joke on students cause the main aggrievd party & petitioners are the students not the Universities

...20-21 year old Adults are not competent enough to decide they want to live and not be forced to risk their lives? But they can vote, get married, & earn a living.
