first of all let's start with the meaning with "crying wolf" it means crying or calling for help when it's not needed which results to people not believing them when they need help for real

the song talks about someone who needs help and there voice in silenced and are being accused of "crying wolf" and they are struggling with finding someone to reach out and help them

in this first verse it talks about the backstory and how people call there calls for help "a lie" but not having an explanation on why they think there calls are lies

also the song might means the girl who cried wolf is there partner and she is trying to escape from something or a bad state of mind and they are trying to go along with her

as i said this song talks about the desperate calls for help but these calls are being ignored because people look at them as lies or as a way to seek "attention"

the first two lines are a metaphor of her partner being the her knight and saving her from the tragedy she is living in but since people are pressuring her into silencing her she refuses to express herself to her partner

her partner is saying that they believe her because her eyes are telling the truth and they can tell she is hurt but won't reach out and get the help they need
