The three large communities in Karnataka that have yielded to Sanghism are: Lingayats of North KA, Bunts of Tulunadu and Kodavas of Madikeri.

Revival of Basavanna's anti-brahmanical philosophy, of Bunt pride, and Kodava pride will serve as natural antidotes to Sanghi Brahminism.
By 'pride' I mean self-esteem of a community wrt its socio-religious customs/rituals, NOT supremacism or casteism.

If pride in ethnic identity (eg., Tibetan) or tribe (eg. Santhals) is considered acceptable, I don't get why pride of a community like Bunt becomes illegitimate.
"Caste" is a term that binds an independent kinship group into hierarchical relationship with other groups, making it subject to "casteism" governed by the purity-pollution axis of Hinduism ala Brahmanism. What needs elimination is the imposed hierarchy, not the kinship identity.
Caste identity is oft-seen as inherently bad, to be eliminated. What happens to community traditions? So a group's tribal/kinship identity is nullified because brahmins imposed 'casteism'? After stripping what happens? we are all pushed into a universal Hindu religion with UCs?
Mind you I am saying this despite hailing from an obc caste which saw bunts as exploiters. Bunt landlords had higher status in social sphere (Brahmin power was restricted to temples). In fact as per our caste narrative 'bunts are our smarter cousins who cheated us off our land.'
