Are Dallas and Ayling traps for fantasy managers?

Facing LIV, MCI, WOL, LEI, ARS in their first 10GWs.

Arguably, this means you will only play them 5GWs out of the first 10.

Here are some alternative £4.5m def that could be preferred over Dallas and Ayling.

Vinagre £4.5m

WOL 13 CS last season.
Jonny sidelined with a serious knee injury. Vinagre is certain to start.
WHU, FUL, LUFC, NEW, CRY from GWs 3,4,5,6,7
Wolves face 2 promoted teams out of these.
£4.5m is a steal for WOL def cover.

Kyle Walker-Peters £4.5m

CRY, BUR, WBA, EVE, AVL, NEW in first 8GWs.
Since the restart, SOU only conceded 8 goals in 9 games.
Looks to have secured RB position.
Double up with McCarthy for GW1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 could be a great shout with favourable fixtures.

Charlie Taylor £4.5m

BUR 15 clean sheets last season
Target GWs 3,4,5,8,9 (SOU, NEW, WBA, BRI, CRY)
Cheaper alternative to Pope. (£1m saved to spend elsewhere).
1xlast season.
Looks the more certain to start out of Bardsley and Pieters.

Foyth £4.5m

EVE, SOU, NEW, WHU, BUR, BRI, WBA in first 7 GWs.
Cheap way into Spurs defense if Aurier deal to Milan goes through.
1x in pre-season game yesterday.
Can play CB or RB.

James Justin £4.5m
WBA, BUR, WHU, AVL in the first 5GWs
Pereira out injured until October.
1xlast season

Luke Thomas £4.5m (Outside Option)

If Chilwell deal goes through, he should earn his place at LB if they do not sign Tagliafico.
1xin 3 apps last season.

Lamptey £4.5m

NEW, EVE, CRY, WBA, BUR, AVL in first 10 GWs.
Started 7/8 of BRI last season games.
Attacking potential – 1x in these final games.

Saliba £4.5m (Outside Option)

If planning WC in GW2 or 3, a punt on Saliba could be a great differential pick.
FUL and WHU in the first 2 GWs.
Would avoid after GW2. (LIV, SHU, MCI, LEI, MUN in GWs 3-7)

Lascelles £4.5m (Outside Option)

Similarly if you are planning on WC GW2 or 3, a punt on him could prove a great differential pick.
Currently injured, but should be fit in time for GW1.
WHU and BRI in the first 2 GWs.
Set-piece threat.
(Would avoid GW3 onwards).
