Heya, it’s been a while since I made a sappy tweet about how wonderful this stan twitter community is and how much it means to me

So, here’s a thread to celebrate everyone in the fandom and spread some positivity, because you all deserve to be recognized and appreciated

Here’s to the editors and fancam creators, whether you’ve been doing it for months or just made your first edit yesterday. Your work is amazing and it plays an important part in bringing the fandom together, thank you for using up so much of your time to bring us awesome content

(I would honestly d-word if I had to go without the hundreds of edits/fancams I have bookmarked, so thanks for keeping me alive too)

This one goes out to the fan fiction writers, cause you guys are HEROES. I know how hard writing can be, and I admire you so much for doing it constantly to create the most beautiful stories. Your words bring the characters to life with such passion, and I can’t thank you enough

(Also, you owe me SO many tears and hours of sleep, it’s unbelievable)

Let’s not forget all the incredibly talented artists, not only the ones whose art is immediately recognized but also those who just started drawing and are still finding their style. I’m blown away by your talent and dedication in every single piece of art you create, thank you

(I would also d-word if my favorite fan arts were taken away from me, and I still wouldn’t go down without a fight, just sayin’)

A shoutout to the ppl organizing events and projects such as the Ineffable Con, the White Curl, the 500 Miles Project and many more (also funds like the #TheLittleDemonicMiracleFund)
You are doing wonderful work and helping so many ppl through these hard times, thank you for that

(And yes, the GO episode title in there was intentional, I gotta stay true to my GO shitposting personality)

Let’s hear it for the ppl organizing watch parties and rewatches for shows. It is so hard to coordinate such a big community, spread the word, create gcs and more. Y’all are incredible just for thinking of all that, and I always had the best time during these events, thank you!

(Although, I do believe that the Gracepoint watch parties were traumatic for more than a few people)

And yes, I’m saying it, thank you to the creators of cursed edits/fancams (or polls who had cursed results). I might complain about it a lot whenever I see one, but you still bring many of us together and always make me laugh for the whole day. Your cursed work is appreciated

This one goes out to the serial stalkers who are always the first to let us know about new content, videos, or tweets. Your ability to stalk David, Michael, Neil or others is astounding and I would be eternally clueless if it weren’t for you, so thank you so much for doing that

(ALSO, thank you to the good souls who were ready to send me links to videos or lives when I didn’t even know said video or live was happening. You are true angels, and Aziraphale agrees)

Another shoutout for those making appreciation posts or pages that allow you to express your love and appreciation for the fandom and specific ppl. Seeing those posts never fails to make me smile and gives all of us a chance to say how much this community means to us, thank you

And, finally, thank you to anyone who doesn’t do art or edits, doesn’t write fanfics or organize events, and maybe even feels like they don’t contribute anything. YOU DO, your presence is vitally important to keep the fandom alive and your support means so much to so many ppl
