1. Putting women back at the center of feminism is going to be a tough fight

I want to play nice but, playing nice got us here

I will not insult anyone but, I’m now choosing firmness & directness

Feminism is not an anti “cishet” men gossip club. It’s unapologetically for women
2. The lack of emphasis on the specific ways women & girls are exploited have slowly but surely increased.

The internet world is collectively loosing empathy in general, but even more so for people who don’t perform certain identities or politics.
3. So, fighting for women in particular is becoming increasingly unfashionable.

We hold the most careless conversations about female sexuality and sexual exploitation.
4. We cannot confront certain realities regarding male violence.

We have difficulty speaking honestly about our sex class.

We’re re-internalizing patriarchal beauty culture. Femininity is increasingly becoming the most prominent definition of womanhood.
5. We cannot have honest conversations about femininity and masculinity as constructs and ideas as well as how we perform them.

Women have to not only sit back and watch, but cheer along as their bodies & bodily functions are fetishized as objects of other people’s fantasy.
6. Women who fall out of line are villinaised and even feminists excuse the most horrible slurs, threats, abuse and ACTIONS against these women.
7. The tools and language with which we challenge male dominance are increasingly becoming abstract intangibility that the vast majority of women will have a tough time grasping, let alone using.
8. While patriarchy is still so evident in our lives, we’re told by big feminists blogs and thought leaders that patriarchy is outdated and we should channel out fight towards Kyriarchy instead.
9. There’s so much more but I’m tired of typing.
