Reading the back and forth tweets between @lavidaNOTA and @Nasty_CSA you'll realize that Nota exactly wasn't exactly wrong. There are a few issues that might have fueled the conversation towards the direction it took.
But you need to realize that everytime one makes a comment about an artist, there's two types of people are likely to respond: subjective and objective people on Twitter
The subjective inviduals are the die hard fans that think an artist can never do no wrong. They suffer from a comfirmation bias which is a tendency for people to seek information that supports their pre-existing believes.
They perceive everything opposite as wrong no matter how true the opposite may be. Therefore making them worst people to engage with in an argument because they will end up insulting you when you're too honest about their favorite.
Then we have the objective individuals who are logical and rational fans or people that just listen to good music. The objective fans of Nasty C, Cassper, AKA and A-Reece are very rare in their comment sections.
The truth is saying Nasty C's Zulu song is "trash" might have been a bit insulting, so Nota could have found a better way to express his thoughts because he wasn't wrong.
The song isn't nice at all, but it's his 1st time rapping in Zulu so we can't bash the nigger for trying. Your "yes man" fans won't be honest with you because they are emotionally invested in your art and character.
plus they have been begging Nasty for a while to rap in Zulu. The objective fans that don't like the song might sound like haters to him but that's not the case. But honesty is important just in case he wanna try this again in the future.
One problem celebrities have and people in general is that if someone wrote a long text about you that is true but some information is wrong - what y'all do is cherry pick the wrong information and...
...conclude that the whole thread is wrong or only focus on the wrong information to make someone look wrong. Like most of you are probably gonna do with this thread instead of commenting on what is right and what is wrong.
I'm a Nasty C fam but as a fans we need to be honest with the artist and ourselves. If the song wasn't nice, it's not nice. You can't be perceived as a hater for not liking a song and if an artist doesn't need our advices, rather create your own platform for your "yes man" fans.
