About 3 minutes before this game actually ended I was thinking this might be a pretty short screenshot thread. Oh, what a beautiful fool I was.
[This is gonna be very long. Hang in there.]
Pregame with Kenley Jansen is up here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wWhCAZFFwQMBjRu-1WLH1quGfL9SNmRw/view?usp=drivesdk">https://drive.google.com/file/d/1w...
I thought this pickle was cool as hell, so I& #39;m gonna attempt a (shoddy) summary:
Mookie walks. Corey singles to LF & makes a sharp turn. Mookie& #39;s running hard and gets into 3B safely with the throw slightly up the line.

Bc arenado has an annoyingly good arm, he makes a quick turn& throw and catches Corey between 1b and 2b. Mookie notices this pretty much immediately and jumps right into a short lead towards home, close enough he can dive back to 3b if he needs to
Meanwhile: Corey vs. many people trying to tag him out; going pretty well for him. The best thing about a pickle is you can& #39;t just like, make a break for it and run into right field; you have to stay within a vaguely defined lane while also avoiding everyone else. It& #39;s great.
This is where I& #39;m guessing murphy makes the (incorrect) assumption that they can hold Mookie on 3b. Murphy breaks towards Corey; Mookie breaks towards the plate.
See where Corey& #39;s looking? Mookie& #39;s stepping on home plate right about here. Rundown complete, runner in, 5-6 throw and Corey lets himself get tagged out, job done. 7-5-3-4-3-6.
The eye crinkles of happiness :& #39;)
Cannot bring myself to do a whole rundown on this pickle as well but 1. Lucky deflection! And 2. Nice tag by Blake
Corey& #39;s hair is so.. incredibly fluffy. Aspirational.
When you just hit a walkoff homer but you don& #39;t know it yet (!!)
