Here is my Twitter strategy (This is the "How to gain followers" chapter.)

I have no idea whether this would work for others, but it did work for me to get more than 8,000 followers in less than a month.

🧵👇
First of all, yes to all of these:

* Quality of content
* Persistence
* Positivity
* Engaging with others
* Giving instead of asking
* Establishing authority
* Good profile

They are the foundation of any growth on Twitter. But you knew all of those already.

👇
Assuming you get all of the above down, the only thing preventing you from growing is getting in front of enough people.

It's a number's game: the more people see your content, the more people will follow you.

You need to optimize for eyeballs.

👇
So I've been following a one-two punch combination to fuel the growth:

1. Post actionable content
2. Ride the momentum that good posts generate

👇
1. Actionable content

This is key if you want people to generate the momentum you need for the second part of the strategy.

"Actionable" means that people read your content and can do something with it. Immediately.

(You can also call this "helpful" content.)

👇
2. Ride the momentum

The more ur content starts spreading, the more ppl will like and retweet it. This will make it visible to even more people. 🌪️

But not only that:

Everyone who liked/RT'd, will now see more of your content! They "soft subscribed" to it without knowing!

👇
So I "ride the momentum" by doing the following:

1. Post more (don't wait until my old post dies!)

2. Target (engage with) specific accounts that engaged with me and aren't following yet.

This creates an explosion of engagement around my name.

👇
The more I see somebody, the more I'll start trusting them and the more likely I am to follow them.

If you want me to follow you, stay on my face (with relevant interactions!)

I do the same with others: use good posts to stay on people's faces.

Try it and let me know.
