@andrew_lilico Chris Whitty just claimed on R4 that children don’t transmit coronavirus, in direct contradiction with all the evidence that children over 12 transmit it just like adults. When Trump said this he was internationally condemned.

Harris then came on and claimed teachers gave it to one another in the classroom, despite calling only a couple of days ago for all over 12s to wear masks.

I totally agree that the schools must go back, but based on an appropriate understanding of risk, not based on misinformation and lies.

Staff room, not classroom, sorry.

Information should be as accurate as we can make it and our scientists should be impartial. We should be making decisions based on an understanding of proportionate risk, not a series of political lies.
