So this shows the absurdity of buying a Rolex these days. Has a text earlier from the local dealer saying someone has passed on a BLNR and I’m “next on the list”. That’s for a watch I’ve never shown any interest in, they know I have a CHNR already as they sold it to me...

They know the only Rolex I’m interested in is a blue dial Sky Dweller, this smells like them throwing me a bone cos they’ve had one and it’s gone to a bigger spender. So the madness is this....

...if I pass on this then I will never get that call about the Sky Dweller, I’d I buy it they know I’ll flip it tomorrow for a very healthy profit. Why not just call someone that really wants that piece?!?

So anyway, my credit card is now S$13,000 lighter & collect it tomorrow, a quick call to my fav dealer sees him picking it up from my office tomorrow for S$20,000 “a bit more maybe if they’ll leave the stickers on”
