The responses to this are infuriating me to no end. PLAGIARISM can you spell it? People come to you everyday after scouring the peak of their creative resource(Pinterest at best) and hand it over to you as a creative and expect you to recreate that exact thing. Respect me please. https://twitter.com/thokozanichili/status/1297071312578514950
You came to me for my expertise. And so it is my responsibility as the creative to be CREATIVE. I cannot take something off the internet and just copy it wdym.
People pour blood sweat and tears into their crafts to make it their own and then here comes someone who made a moodboard for the first time in their life telling you they want exactly that. Like, you better go find that artist/baker/designer then.
The problem is that people don’t respect creativity. They see creatives as tools. RESPECT ME and my craft and I will provide a conceptual solution more suited to your creative problem. Please don’t ask me to copy. It’s disgusting.
I can’t get over how you just steal someone’s work and see nothing wrong with it.
I see a lot of tweets saying the artist “has the liver”. You hve the fucking liver to ask someone to help you steal please. Theft on your own.
Anyway, here’s a link to my favourite talk on plagiarism, thats actually funny:
