We can't stand by and allow Lecce - or people fighting for safe schools who we support - compromise Bogoch's integrity.
He holds the trust of Canadians *bc he's non-political*.
He can't keep our ears for pandemic safety messages if he answers Qs in a frame that says "Boo Doug".

He's a Doctor with a national audience from all perspectives. He can't tell 35-40% of them "your guy is stupid buzz off".
If he did they would stop listening to safety messages.

That would literally damage Canada's pandemic effort bc it would probably measurably politicize it on a national level.

Bogoch is saying we need masks, distancing and upgraded ventilation. He fleshed out the science.
He's telling us X part of the plan is concerning (masks distancing class sizes ventilation) and these are the scientific reasons why.
And X part of the plan is good (custodians).

Anyone wonder why Lecce is now starting to target a lot of his messages for the Conservative leaning base, dispatching people to stand in front of the camera like Mike Harris?

Most Conservative leaning people are onside with school safety bc they absorbed science! Hence govt is in trouble with its own people.

We should be grateful and try not to do anything that may impede his work like politicizing him.
