i will give aru and chikage another name for this au of course.

aru's name will be aletheia and
chikage's name will be moran

aletheia (pronounced as a-le-cia) is a princess from a not-so-well known country. in her country, aletheia is known for her pretty face and her humble personality, also how good she is at fighting despite her identity as a princess.

but little did they know that, aletheia have this bad side of her where she will sacrifice and do anything to become a queen. so in order to become a queen... aletheia's father jokingly said, "if you could kill king moran, the king of our rival country.. maybe you will get what+

you want." but huh. joking about that topic is a big mistake. aletheia immediately agreed with that offer. not only king moran is the rival of her country, there's this rumour going around that king moran is the one who killed aletheia's brother because moran is a selfish person

aletheia started by writing a letter to king moran saying that, she's interested in king moran and she would like to know him more. and of course, king moran accepted it because its... challenging for him? idk he's weird okay.

moran isn't that type of person to let anybody enter his place easily. but because aletheia's reason is "that", he actually let her in and stayed at his place for a couple of months.

well, its not like no woman wants to marry moran. every woman at his country loves him and they wish to marry him because ugh, he's hot? and he's a king too. but they know that moran won't look at their way.

aletheia tried everything to kill moran, since she also got moran's permission to enter his room freely. she tried to poison his food, she tried to suffocate him in his sleep, she tried to stab him but. nothing works. because there's this personality (?) of moran that aletheia+

don't know about.

is that,,, moran is a very... how do you say it. he like toying around with people. its just his nature. so aletheia never succeeded at trying to assassinate him.

there's also this one time that aletheia tried to kill moran. but moran just, tease her. moran pull her into his bed that they apparently sleep together. no, no sex. just sleep. and who wont be embarrassed because of that. aletheia tries to fight back back but huh. moran is way+

its been 8 months since aletheia live with king moran. but. none of her plans are working.

so at the end she just gave up and accept the fate that, she have actually fallen inlove with the king.

they eventually become more and more closer with each other until one day.. moran said, "im not the one who killed your brother. you came here to assassinate me, don't you?" aletheia couldn't reply with anything.

moran then gave her a knife and lay himself on aletheia's lap+

while saying, "you also want to be a queen, don't you. so kill me now. stab me in my throat, my chest or wherever you want. i don't care anymore as long as it makes you happy."

it was aletheia's time to do what she wanted to do this whole time. but. for some reason,,

she can't move her own hand. the knife in her hands. its,,, she couldn't kill moran. she loved him.

"no, i can't kill you."

"that's true and i wont deny it anymore. but im sorry your highness,, i can't do it."
