First value your signatures
Don’t sign every where & any where read accountability policy of ur bank always keep a copy. If you want to enjoy banking job as an officer then try following things;

Read all bank circulars & guidelines meticulously & follow those religiously.

Don't yearn for money other than your salary & perks .
Don't fear transfer, anyday transfer is better than charge sheet & suspension.
Don't work for promotion .
Don't work for target, focus only on service rest will follow.

Say NO to all verbal order of seniors which r against bank guidelines.
Always work within 10 to 6 schedule .
Say NO to holidays working .
Be active in association activities.
Don't work for clappings in review meeting.
Respect your juniors & do not fear ur seniors.

Respect your customers .treat them as VIP in your premises .
Credit & recovery is integral part of Banking, don't fear to lend or demand recovery.
Don't carry your office works to home .
Your PAF/APAR isn't in ur hands .so accept your PAF even not up to expectation

Earning respect of your customers that is more important than buttering your bosses
Be a fighter not a quitter,
Try to speak truth to everybody even if that is unpleasant.
Smile & laugh as much as you can .
Respect every collugue but never trust anybody blindly

Be polite but firm with controlling office officials.
Always remeber, You may run branch by Practise but when time comes bank will punish by rules
Keep a copy of every certificate u issue to customer (No Matter how Small it is)
Make diary of ur daily branch banking,

Solutions of ur 90% Banking problems written somewhere in ur Bank Helpdesk, make full use of it before asking anybody for help..

We all have got good job but it's upto us to make it best. Always remember honesty is best policy, not in Theory but in reality also.
