My argument has fallen on deaf ears in the past. We need to stick together and show it’s not a power struggle... it’s about patient safety! I have always been proud to be a nurse and I am proud to be an NP. I know my limitations. FPA is wrong

Direct admission w/o experience is wrong.
Not having the school find and evaluate your preceptors is wrong.
Minimum clinical hours is wrong.
NOT UNDERSTANDING OUR EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE IS NOT EQUIVALENT TO MED SCHOOL/RESIDENCY IS WRONG
