Individualism isn& #39;t loud or neon-colored, it& #39;s a powerful call to take ownership of yourself — your views, your actions, your life.

Few people truly practice individualism.
Most live halfway between collectivism & individualism; we want the freedom to choose, but we outsource the hard work of consciously choosing our beliefs & values to the group.

Some things you must do yourself.
A degree of collectivism is required to help a society of millions function smoothly. Yet, like water for a plant, too much will kill the very flower it& #39;s meant to grow.
For most of history, no one gave a shit what you wanted; you were a peasant — the end.

Individualism is the radical belief in human dignity. It believes you& #39;re worth more than being a cog in someone else& #39;s machine.
We are trust-fund babies of individualism today; it& #39;s dangerously easy to forget the revolutionary change that gave us the choice to define ourselves.

You might choose to reject it, but don& #39;t forget who gave you that choice to begin with https://spiritualsoap.substack.com/p/weird-and-gd-individualism-for-useful">https://spiritualsoap.substack.com/p/weird-a...
Never become so comfortable you forget that choice — your beliefs, your values — is a hard-won right that& #39;s still non-existent in most places.

Use your right. Take ownership of your choices but respect when others do so, too.
