Relatability in media is so fucking overrated. I don't give a shit about feeling "represented" I wanna see new or interesting perspectives from the media I consume. I want to be thinking about them for a long time after I'm done with them because I want them to be interesting.
And I'd like whatever I'm consuming to be, like, actually good too. I know art is subject and all that meaningless bullshit but I wanna know that actual attention and care went into the production of something I enjoy. You don't get too much of that nowadays.
Like "Hey you should view this thing because it has good representation of this and that"
