Okay in the past three weeks I read NORMAL PEOPLE by Sally Rooney, SUCH A FUN AGE by Kiley Reid, and THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD by Colson Whitehead. I very badly need a less depressing book rec. What is a book that’s made you happy during quarantine? Any genre except YA plz thanks.
No shade to YA, I had a really bad time of it as a teen and I have no ability to enjoy books set during the years of 14-18 years old. Like, none. Plz respect my trauma! It’s not a slight to the genre.
The last YA book I read was THE HATE U GIVE which was fantastic but not uh escapist
