So... The breakfast club has every vague point of high school experience covered. Of course very certain people won& #39;t find themselves to fit in, just like myself, they will not relate to just one character, considering it was made in 1985. Time has moved on since then. And new---
Generations of different people have spawned since then. But even just watching it as the person you are now, looking back on the time high school presented to you, walking through those halls, sitting at dinner tables you look back on. John Hughes got it so fucking right.
The scene where they explain how they got in detention is so simple but exceptional. If you haven& #39;t please watch it, the whole film that is. Even though stereotypes are the whole films main point and exploration. It is something that needs to be just recognised.
Just recognised is just enough. It could be exceptionally argued that the tropes oh high school/college need to be engaged and changed. But I just believe it needs to be discussed and understood. As everyone experiences different lives and upbringings, there will not be a single-
-person who is completely understood By & #39;The Breakfast Club but exploring a little just provides that little bit of a kick to understand how much the people around you when growing up have such a massive impact on the person you will become during those highschool college moments
Fuck it I don& #39;t care how long this thread is or who sees it. You will be the person you let yourself become. If you want to be someone. Be that. And focus your life on becoming that person. And if that person is damaging to yourself or other deserving people. Life will find a way
To stop that and forge yourself Into a good person. End of rant for now.
