Can we talk about three things in Jurassic Park that bother me that the screenplay had covered?

Here’s the first: the discovery of why the Triceratops was sick was omitted from the final cut of the scene.

This picks up from the end of the “big pile of shit” scene.
Second, the weirdness of the T-Rex emerging from his goat-feeding paddock, only for there to be a sheer drop these minutes later, is explained. Just.

(One suspects this is trying make Jurassic Park’s early storyboarding or pre-viz work, as much as writing the scene itself.)
Third, that weird Jurassic Park moment when Mr DNA’s voice goes out of sync with his animated mouth, and the line delivery gets clunky?

Turns out a line was chopped and the audio moved up. So the mouth is animated for one thing while the audio is already saying the next bit.

Bonus Jurassic Park fact: Did you ever notice that in Dr Woo’s famous “will...breed?” moment, he’s not writing on his clipboard, he’s *erasing*?
