The US Postal Service has made an ad about mail-in voting, and it’s surprisingly honest and informative!

Request mail-in ballot: https://www.vote.org

Hi again America
back to lend a hand with that election you're about to have that'll shape this century and the lives of all those walking this planet for decades to come. Which is why we're taking a detour from our usual coverage of the Australien Government shitfuckery

We're not here to tell Americans who to vote for. The video isn't pro-Biden or anti-Trump.
It's pro *democracy*
It urges folks to register & request their mail-in ballot early. Coz low turn-out is the main threat to a fair election
Hope we're all cool with democracy here

So if you're a US voter... or if you know any US voters, please direct them to:

Thank you to all our Patrons who are supporting our HGAs on the US election, recognising that its outcome will influence all of us irrespective of where we live.
I see this as a joint international aid effort of sorts
We'll publish the PG version tomorrow

Before I go just wanted to share a few sources I used in making the video.
Re: mail ballot fraud: the table in the video is from the Heritage Foundation, a Conservative group - good for those worried about bias

Again from the conservative Heritage Foundation, here's the source for the handful of cases of ballot fraud in Colorado since 2013: https://www.heritage.org/voterfraud/search?state=CO
Interestingly, most ballot fraud seems to be commited by Republican voters. lol one of those nine Coloradians busted for ballot fraud is the Colorado GOP chairman. I didn't include this to avoid making it partisan, but it's worth noting yeah https://www.cbsnews.com/news/steve-curtis-former-colorado-gop-chairman-sentenced-for-voter-fraud/
Attorney General William Barr, aka Trump's personal prosecutor, admits under oaths that there's no evidence for widespread mail ballot fraud: https://www.salon.com/2020/06/26/barr-admits-he-has-no-evidence-to-support-his-voting-by-mail-conspiracy-about-counterfeit-ballots/
And here's the Fox article about no evidence of voter fraud in Florida or elsewhere in the US: https://www.fox13news.com/news/experts-agree-with-politicians-voting-by-mail-in-florida-is-safe-and-secure
