Wait I want to tell you all about the time that I almost got inducted into a cult
So in my sophomore year me and my friend group (like 20 of us - remember this is an important #) took honors English where our semester project was to do a lost of things weve never experienced and we had to write and document it - here& #39;s see of the things we did
We would go feed the homeless, or visit some place on our teachers list but you were allowed to suggest things as well. One of my friends decided to find something cool on the internet and found this website called "The Game of Nonchalance"
Basically it was a scavenger hunt around San Francisco& #39;s financial district and Chinatown. Innocent right? So all of us head down to where the instructions on the email say. Then we have to split up in a group of 4. Remember that there was 20ish of us.
So the instructions first say that we have to meet at this fancy building, but we weren& #39;t allowed to get caught???? We had to let the guards know that we had an appointment with a & #39;doctor& #39; (per instructions from the email). We were led up into what seemed to be a busy office
(I& #39;m gunna use photos and videos I find on the internet)

We are told to sign an nda then lead to an empty hallway and into a room called the & #39;inductiom room& #39;. It& #39;s like a retro looking room with a TV in the middle and just a couch and a few seats. Enough for 4.
This is where it gets fucking scary. Suddenly the black TV turns on... Like wtf!

I found the video online uploaded by some weird channel

THIS IS THE VIDEO THAT PLAYED PART 1
Like what the fuck???? So me and my team are looking at each other like WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS??????

after the video we are instructed to leave using the stairs as we aren& #39;t allowed to get caught ????

At this point we are paranoid... But we continue bc we were dumb teens
So we& #39;re given some instructions and we are told to find clues, the only way we& #39;d know we got the answer right is that we would find these signs etc
The game made us super weary of our friends... Like all of us were getting mad at other teams cause we ended up thinking they were dangerous cause that& #39;s what the game was slowly conditioning us to think... It was fucking insane
Basically at the end of the game, it lead us back to the office where we had to find a locker that had a small opening that you had to look through AND THIS IS WHAT WE FUCKING SAW...

(Video from a documentary)
Anyways, after that we were so suspicious of that experience like we were actually scared because the game revolved around figuring out where a missing woman was and at this point we were convinced that it was real...
It wasn& #39;t until I was done with college that I remembered that we even did this in the first place and I decided to google and found out that this game was actually a CULT INDUCING INDUCTION?!?!?
Y& #39;all watch this fucking trailer for this documentary someone made about this experience bc a Twitter thread is not enough to show y& #39;all the horror we, as teenagers went through. It honestly felt like those games that have been trending lately where u find a dead body
I think the fact that there was 20 of us made it less likely that we would be inducted into the cult. They had more episodes and we all wanted to do them together. We tried the second one out and we failed cause it was hard.

I think of I did this myself I would probably have
Solely bc I wouldn& #39;t be able to explain it to anyone? Who would believe me specially if the cults message was that u can& #39;t believe reality
