ALCOHOL 🍺🍷🍸

Alcohol is a liquid that is created by fermentation of sugars.

It is classified as a depressant which means it slows down vital functions. The amount of alcohol consumed determines its effects.
In smaller doses alcohol can act as a stimulant and make the use feel more energized and lower inhibitions.

In larger doses alcohol can lead to intoxication- being drunk

In extremely large doses alcohol poisoning can occur with symptoms such as vomiting, coma, or even death 🤮
A little know fact about alcohol is that it's actually it's own macronutrient and contains 7 calories per gram.

The other macronutrients are carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, which contain 4-4-9 calories respectively.
