it’s new bike day! i haven& #39;t owned a bike since i was a kid but and it was hard to get a new one during the pandemic, but today was my lucky day. i can’t wait to get out on portland& #39;s bike greenways and enjoy the small little pleasures of feeling like i am 10 years old again

first bike ride out of the neighborhood and on the city streets is in the books!! squeezed in a solid 5.6 miles this evening. still amazed by how many protected bike lanes we have and the joy that is riding on a neighborhood greenway

i have not been doing a good job of updating this thread with my august or september bike rides, but today was the first one i did in 3 weeks (wildfire smoke ruined my consistent track record)!
