It seems that Bakugou has bags under his eyes. Most likely he was having trouble sleeping due to him getting kidnapped by the villains.

[This will be a thread on how complex bakugou is:
Let& #39;s fast forward to after bakugou got kidnapped, as we can see here that kidnapping has taken a big toll on bakugou. Now guys remember bakugou is still a kid in highschool:
We see him telling deku that
"I couldn& #39;t tell anyone!" This is implying that Bakugou was afraid that people will see him as weak instead of strong. He is very hard on himself and tends to bottle up his emotions.
"I couldn& #39;t tell anyone!" This is implying that Bakugou was afraid that people will see him as weak instead of strong. He is very hard on himself and tends to bottle up his emotions.
We see here that Bakugou has been experiencing ptsd, he says "Even if I try not to think about it...it just comes to mind unexpectedly! "I don& #39;t know what to do!!" We see just how badly this tramatizing event has affected bakugou.
In the world of bnha, if you were to have a strong quirk ppl would see you as a leader or someone who isn& #39;t afraid of anything. This is a result of why bakugou turned out to be very prideful, due to him being constantly praised as a kid for his quirk.
If we looks into the early chapters of bnha, we can actually see just how this affects him as a teenager. We see here that Bakugou is hyperventilating due to deku actually beating him. The reason why Bakugou is reacting like this is because, since he was always praised for his+
Quirk as a kid, no other kids could actually match his power. Everyone was always telling bakugou "Well he& #39;s bakugou he can handle it" "Yeah!! Your right he& #39;s good at everything, and he& #39;s really strong." Physically. He is physically strong but not mentally.
Just because someone is physically strong, does not mean that they are mentally strong. Which is why bakugou tends to bottle up his emotions, because he doesn& #39;t wanna be seen as weak. When someone beats him he feels defeated. A failure. Weak. He& #39;s so hard and insecure on himself+
That whenever deku asks if he is okay, he feels as though deku is looking down on him, when in reality deku is just worried for his friend. No one has ever asked bakugou, "hey man are you okay?" Or "woah bakugou are you hurt?" It would always just be+
"Bakugou is strong enough, I& #39;m sure he& #39;ll be able to get through" or "wdym man, it& #39;s bakugou of course he& #39;ll be fine." "Fine." That& #39;s what they always say, they think he& #39;s fine but mentally....he& #39;s not.
It really bothers me how the hero society sees someone who has anger issues, like Bakugou. And their first thing to do is tie him up and shakle him like a dog. I get that he& #39;s has anger issues but this is too much.
In this panel we see how well Horikoshi portrays emotion, through the face. We see here just how defeated bakugou looks after seeing, how much better his classmates Momo and Todoroki are than him. He feels like he failed. Weak. Defeated.
On top of that, deku who had seemed quirkless for years suddenly has a quirk that could very much be more powerful than his. Hence why he feels so much anger and frustration.
Bakugou feels that it is his fault for all might losing his power, he feels guilty as to how he got kidnapped. He breaksdown in tears as he screams out in pain, just how pathetic and weak he felt.+
"If I& #39;d been stronger, and if I hadn& #39;t been kidnapped by villains, then this never would have happened..." This. Right here truly shows how corrupt the hero society is. Society tends to focus more on people& #39;s physical strength but ignore the mental strength.
"You we& #39;re someone who could compete." "I& #39;m weak too, you know..!" Bakugou is weak too. Not physically but mentally. Bakugou feels pressured to appear and act strong due to how, society treats people with strong quirks. Which is why he& #39;s so hard on himself.
The only person that Bakugou could vent out his emotions too, was deku. Deku understood how bakugou was feeling. As much as bakugou says he hates deku, a small but growing part of him wants to apologise and become friends with him again.
This kinda isn& #39;t surprising since him and deku have been friends since they were little kids. More as best friends per-say.
Now, in the manga we see how bakugou and Deku& #39;s friendship is developing. We can also see how bakugou is developing as a character and a person, with him accepting that there are people who are stronger than him. Even if he has a very strong quirk.
And that& #39;s all!! I don& #39;t rly know what else to say....emmm, I guess you guys should go read the manga!!
