I know the 'Batman is a dark loner fighting for justice' concept is compelling to some but 'Batman is a lonely vigilante who builds a dysfunctional family of genius, maladjusted children because in his heart that is what he is too' is significantly more compelling and meaty

Look 2020 is tiring. I'm tired. You're tired. Let Batman save a kid whose parents have been murdered. Let him hug a tiny assassin. Let him tuck an angry car thief boy into bed with hot chocolate. Let him learn sign language to talk with his adopted daughter. I will pay you.
